Job summary

Phillips 66 in Houston, TX seeks a Sr Advisor II, Structuring & Origination to drive mid-to-long-term value through complex, cross-region transactions across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. You will blend financial engineering with deal execution on deal teams and set robust modeling standards.

You will mentor teammates, design liquidity solutions with global banks and treasury, and oversee transaction pipelines from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in global energy commodity markets, corporate treasury, investment banking, or structured finance.
• Proven success executing structured physical or financial commodity transactions and managing diverse commercial portfolios.
• Expert-level asset-level financial modeling, risk and return analysis, and valuation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, support, and originate complex mid-to-long-term commodity transactions globally.
• Lead end-to-end financial structuring for multi-commodity and cross-region proposals.
• Perform price sensitivity, optionality, and what-if scenario analysis; maintain risk registers.
• Mentor on advanced financial engineering techniques; design and deliver targeted training on asset-level modeling and valuation.
• Architect structured trade finance and liquidity solutions with global financial institutions and treasury teams.
• Manage the global transaction pipeline from concept to execution and analyze portfolio performance.
• Advise trading desks and leadership by translating complex mechanics into clear strategic choices.
• Collaborate across Deal Teams and internal partners to align stakeholders and resolve issues.
