Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Analyst for on-site work in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on sourcing equipment, spare parts, and services, developing commodity strategies, and negotiating contracts to drive cost reductions.

The candidate should have 8+ years in sourcing, a Bachelor's in engineering, strong English, and experience with SAP in a global setting. Relocation domestically supported; travel <10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or above required.
8+ years of sourcing/procurement experience.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Experience in a global/multinational environment.

Responsibilities

Source equipment, spare parts, consumables, repair, maintenance and related services (indirect spend).
Develop commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify and develop new suppliers with cross-functional teams.
Optimize supplier base to improve efficiency and quality.
Conduct RFQs for new materials or services.
Negotiate master purchasing contracts and QA/NDAs with suppliers.
Lead cost reduction initiatives through analysis and market data.
