Job summary

Magnaflux, a division of ITW, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for the DeWitt, IA operation. You will lead strategic sourcing and supplier accountability for equipment and blended chemical sales totaling over $65M, with divisional operations around $100M.

This senior role requires building a high-performing team, collaborating with ITW and Magnaflux locations, and travel to suppliers as needed. Expect driving cost improvements, supply chain risk management, and alignment with business

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing, supply chain operations, and capital equipment manufacturing in a global environment.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Strong record of driving operational improvements aligned with business strategy.
• Proven history of lean manufacturing implementations.
• Deep negotiation, procurement, contract law, MRP, and lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations at the DeWitt, IA facility including purchasing and PO processes.
• Lead Strategic Sourcing for Magnaflux Division and ITW leadership teams.
• Ensure supply chain strategies align with business unit objectives and growth goals.
• Transition from transactional purchasing to a strategic sourcing organization.
• Identify and execute sourcing initiatives to leverage scale and profitability.
• Manage supplier qualification and selection for quality, delivery, and commercial needs.
• Develop plans to harness economies of scale and enable business growth globally.
• Lead complex negotiations using extensive experience and know‑how.
• Assess supplier performance, drive improvements, and enforce contract remedies.
• Coach and develop talent; build a high-performing supply chain team.
• Travel to suppliers and ITW/Magnaflux locations as needed.
• Establish departmental goals, budgets, and operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
