Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY seeks a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing strategies, supplier lifecycle management, and LTAs supporting CAG and ISC. You will regionalize supply chains, reduce complexity, and build strategic supplier partnerships.

This role requires 7+ years in global supply chain, negotiation of complex contracts, and travel up to 30%. You will mentor a global team and collaborate with Contracts and Legal to shape long-term agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of global supply chain, strategic sourcing, and leadership experience.
• Experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts and LTAs.
• Knowledge of supply chain network design, supplier development, strategic sourcing, and risk management.
• Ability to influence and collaborate within a global, cross-functional, geographically dispersed organization.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of international trade, import/export compliance, and global regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans and support Make vs. Buy decisions.
• Identify and develop suppliers for a high-performing supply chain network optimizing quality, lead time, VMI, continuity, and landed cost.
• Lead supplier selection activities and determine sourcing strategies to maintain long-term competitiveness.
• Develop supplier capabilities through partnerships and supplier development initiatives.
• Analyze supply and demand trends with global teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Contracts and Legal to define and manage supplier contractual requirements and LTAs.
• Oversee supplier participation in New Product Introduction activities with Program Management.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships and support regional supply chain teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global Strategic Sourcing team.
