Fortrea is seeking a Director, Global Strategic Sourcing to lead strategy, governance, and performance for key categories across the organization. The role requires building a world-class procurement function and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver value at scale.

The successful candidate will manage a global team, shape talent strategy, and ensure compliance while driving savings and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Deep knowledge of sourcing processes, market trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
• Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience leading large, complex sourcing projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a global team of category and sourcing managers with clear roles and performance expectations.
• Own talent strategy including workforce planning, capability development and succession planning.
• Set measurable objectives across the team for savings, service levels, stakeholder satisfaction and compliance.
• Translate enterprise strategy into category priorities and governance across the team.
• Lead multi-functional teams on strategic sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships.
