Veeco seeks a strategic Category Manager to transform sourcing for its advanced equipment. You will shape global category roadmaps, optimize supplier networks, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership to deliver value.

The role focuses on building resilient supplier strategies, negotiating complex commercial terms, and driving improvements in cost, quality, and delivery across OEM and build-to-print contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in category management or strategic sourcing in manufacturing, technology, or capital equipment.
• Experience with OEM and build-to-print supplier management and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive global category strategies, roadmaps, and supplier segmentation.
• Lead supplier negotiations including pricing, lead times, and terms; drive cost reductions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to optimize requirements, cost, quality, and delivery.
• Develop and strengthen global supplier networks with performance reviews and improvement plans.
