Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Project Manager to lead national data center and critical infrastructure projects, coordinating across thermal, power, battery and monitoring products. You’ll manage resources, schedules, budgets and safety while interfacing with site teams and customers.

You will emphasize pre-sales through commissioning, with strong communication and a focus on digital platforms (Oracle, Smartsheet, Power BI) to streamline execution and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience, infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor's or Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Use standard PM tools to achieve quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Define and obtain resources required for project scope.
• Work with functional leaders to develop the project organization chart.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups.
• Communicate schedule, budget, and scope with site resources.
• Visit sites to build relationships with key contractor and customer personnel.
• Escalate issues to avoid impacting the customer.
• Ensure timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Communicate effectively in meetings and presentations.
• Follow reporting to keep the project on target for quality, schedule, and cost.
• Responsible for the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Create cost budgets, track spend and maintain margins.
• Promote a culture of safety and host periodic safety meetings.
