Job summary

Computacenter (UK) Ltd seeks a Global Stock Level Manager to oversee worldwide IT hardware inventory and movement, with a focus on North America and expansion. You will ensure service product availability across the global warehouse network and drive forecasting to prevent stockouts.

You will manage end-to-end ordering, asset records in SAP and ServiceNow, and partner with 3PLs and internal teams to optimize stock levels and data accuracy across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years preferred in Supply Chain or ITAM; 3+ years with progressive experience.

About the role

The Global Stock Level Manager is responsible for managing the global inventory and movement of IT hardware required to service international Computacenter customers, with a primary focus on North America and future expansion to other countries worldwide as required. This role ensures the availability of service products across our global warehouse network, proactively identifies potential shortages, and drives inventory planning to maintain service continuity.

Oversees the tracking of new IT hardware orders from procurement through to goods delivery at our warehouse partner while tracking the data/asset alignment across internal platforms and external partner platforms.

What you’ll be doing

• Ensure global warehouse locations maintain optimal stocking levels of IT hardware.
• Proactively identify potential inventory shortages using forecasting tools and inventory metrics, and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stockouts.
• Oversee the end-to-end ordering process from receipt to final arrival and booking.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical equipment and asset tracking profiles inside SAP, Service Now and related inventory management systems.
• Prepare forecast data based on monthly call-offs and failure rates for review, alignment, and approval with Computacenter internal stakeholders.
• Perform daily audits and monitoring of worldwide IT asset stock levels.
• Reconcile inventory transactions, asset movements, and system data between internal systems and external partner systems (utilizing precision tag/serial number level checks).
• Monitor hardware throughput times across all storage locations.
• Proactively identify operational bottlenecks, highlight critical delays to stakeholders, and elevate to management when overruns occur, based on current inventory analysis and reliable data reports
• Monitor, track, and compare hardware equipment failure rates against calculated forecasting models to optimize global stock safety thresholds.
• Act as the primary operational communication bridge between external third-party logistics (3PL) partners and international business units.
• Drive timely information flow regarding process updates, system discrepancies, or logistics escalations.
• Organize and facilitate regular team and cross-functional project meetings.
• Operational Projects: Partner on internal continuous improvement initiatives aimed at expanding and optimizing existing hardware services, operational workflows, system transactions, and data interfaces.
• Delta Identification: Autonomously identify process gaps or system deltas at the site, ticket, or platform level and implement swift corrective actions.

What you have

• 5+ years preferred; 3+ years considered with progressive professional experience in a Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or IT Asset Management (ITAM) role.
• Direct experience within the IT services, technology hardware, or corporate infrastructure industries is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a closely related commercial field (or equivalent practical experience).
• High proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems—specifically SAP and Service Now.
• Advanced proficiency withMS Excel(complex formulas, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and data visualization tools, specificallyPower BIor MS Access, with a demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear, real-time reports. AI experience within simplification is welcome.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and confidently engage with internal and external partners at all organizational levels.
• Highly self-motivated with an independent, structured working style.
• Ability to remain resilient, flexible, and organized under pressure or in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as required by the business.
