Job summary

Monster Energy LATAM is seeking an International Staff Accountant to prepare financial statements, support monthly and quarterly closings, and assist in SEC filings. You will develop spreadsheet reports, verify information, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts and balance sheets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least 1 year of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with US tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Accounting
• Minimum 1 year of experience in reading and analyzing financial reports
• Strong proficiency in Excel. Preferred experience with Microsoft office package and SAP.
• Understanding of US tax regulations

Responsibilities

• Participate in various aspects of the monthly, quarterly closing process including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Participate in the consolidation process of multiple subsidiaries including intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency accounting.
• Assist in the preparation and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including reports on 10-Q, 10-K and other filings. Produce clear and organized work papers that adequately support the Company’s SEC filings.
• Conduct financial audits, assist with year-end audits.
