Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own production reliability for the Recommendations Infra services. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, deploy, and operate large-scale distributed systems across global data centers.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field, 2+ years of SRE experience, strong Linux and networking skills, and proficiency in Python, Go, or C/C++.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field with strong foundation in systems and networks.
• Experience in SRE of large-scale distributed systems with high reliability.
• Familiar with Linux operating systems and networking.
• Proficient in at least one of Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and environments.
• Strong communication and ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of recommendation systems, from design through deployment and refinement.
• Deliver tools to improve reliability, scalability, and automation of services.
• Build high-availability services deployed across global data centers.
• Plan, manage, and optimize cloud resources to meet SLAs for large-scale clusters.
• Measure availability and latency, monitor service health, and respond to incidents.
