Position Overview
The Global Senior Product Manager for Carestream Dental’s General Dentistry portfolio will oversee a high-strategic importance portfolio, engaging with executive leadership, end-users, and partners. This remote role involves directing, communicating, and implementing the strategy, vision, and commercialization of our General Dental Practice Management Software. Responsibilities include capturing customer and market needs, technology trends, and delivering innovative solutions.

Reports to: Senior Director of Product and Process Excellence

Position Summary
Leading product management, market strategy, partner performance, and related solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Driving product commercialization and enhancements.
  2. Managing product lifecycle and market offerings.
  3. Assessing market and technology trends; developing roadmaps; conducting validations.
  4. Making data-driven decisions to meet financial and market goals.
  5. Leading global pricing strategies and supporting regional pricing.
  6. Conducting competitive analysis and market research.
  7. Collaborating with marketing for product promotion and training.
  8. Managing reseller partnerships and ensuring performance standards.
  9. Leading cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
  10. Partnering with development teams on trade-offs and priorities.
  11. Monitoring competitive products and forecasting market trends.
  12. Implementing portfolio delivery methods and driving simplification.
  13. Mentoring team members within the Product Lifecycle Management team.
  14. Partnering with account management for key accounts.
  15. Ensuring customer success through relationship management and site visits.
  16. Maintaining comprehensive product knowledge and industry awareness.
  17. Acting as portfolio steward with stakeholders.
  18. Identifying opportunities for process, quality, and cost improvements.
  19. Owning P&L accountability for the portfolio segment.
