Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a senior leader to transform the business process SOX program into a risk-based, technology-enabled function. You will shape strategy, lead global teams, and advise executives while driving control integration across business processes and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or STEM field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in SOX/ICFR, internal audit, risk advisory or controllership.
• 8+ years leading teams and managing complex programs.
• Active CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent certification.
• Proven track record leading SOX or controls transformation and executive-facing communication.
• US-based with ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the business process SOX roadmap aligned to strategy and operating model.
• Lead risk assessment, scoping, control rationalization and testing oversight.
• Drive innovation in testing via automation, data analytics, and continuous controls monitoring.
• Lead a ~10-person global team across US and Europe and coordinate external resources.
• Partner with IT SOX leadership to integrate controls across ITGCs, ITACs, and reports.
• Communicate status and risks to executives and contribute to Audit Committee materials.
