Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a highly experienced leader to join our Global SOX Compliance team as Sr. Director, Global SOX Compliance Manager. The role acts as the Second Line of Defense, shaping the control environment and partnering with internal and external auditors on SOX compliance.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
17+ years of relevant Internal Audit or SOX experience.
Extensive knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, COSO, and PCAOB standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration with senior management and auditors.
Experience with major business processes including Quote-to-Cash, Inventory, Procure-to-Pay, ITGCs, Hire-to-Retire, Record-to-Report.

Responsibilities

Lead the Global SOX Compliance Second Line of Defense team and drive design, implementation and monitoring of the risk and control framework.
Coordinate with internal and external audit partners on SOX compliance.
Design and maintain an automated internal control framework aligned with COSO and PCAOB standards.
Lead quarterly certification and reporting, including control deficiency assessments and management responses.
Develop training programs to promote ownership and understanding of SOX controls.
Drive process improvement and automation opportunities across financial processes.
