Job summary

Base is hiring a Global Supply Analyst to source and manage suppliers for our home battery systems. You’ll support RFQ to award, build cost models, and help keep contracts organized as we scale production.

You’ll work closely with senior supply managers, engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, gaining ownership quickly in a fast-paced startup that values practical problem-solving and clear communication.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 0–2 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain experience.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with organization.

Responsibilities

• Support RFQs end to end from requirements to supplier selection.
• Build should-cost models and pricing benchmarks.
• Negotiate terms and organize contracts with suppliers.
• Track supplier performance on cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage lead times, capacity, and open orders as production scales.
• Research new suppliers and market trends.
• Present findings and recommendations to team and engineering.
