Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to partner with R&D in qualifying suppliers for NPIs and to own the PFEP in the NPI BOM. You will manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts to secure value, quality, and risk mitigation, while driving cost improvements and supply continuity.

You will collaborate with contract manufacturers to source materials for NPIs, perform supplier quality assessments, and travel internationally up to 20% for audits and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management for new products.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (GD&T) and interpret technical requirements.
• Travel up to 20% for supplier audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with R&D to qualify suppliers for new product introductions.
• Own PFEP in an NPI BOM and manage supplier selection, negotiation and contracts.
• Facilitate technical communication between suppliers and Formlabs R&D.
• Research new manufacturing technologies to strengthen supply chain strategies.
• Lead cost modeling and cost estimation for new products.
• Ensure timely material sourcing for NPIs and update leadership on availability and cost.
