Jobgether is listing an executive VP - Global Sourcing for Finished Products based in the United States on behalf of a partner company. This role leads global sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, and cost structures across multiple brands, with a strong emphasis on expansion through the Amazon channel and profitability improvements.

The candidate will direct supplier selection, value engineering, risk management, and negotiations while building a high-performing global sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 15+ years of best-in-class strategic sourcing experience.
• Direct and indirect spend management experience.
• Experience with e-auctions and reverse auctions.
• Strong procurement, cost management and risk skills.
• Executive communication and stakeholder influence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel 10-20%.
• Sedentary office-based work with occasional standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global finished goods sourcing strategies across the organization's full finished product spend.
• Lead tactical sourcing execution while ensuring procurement strategies support revenue growth, profitability, and broader business objectives.
• Drive an aggressive revenue growth strategy with particular emphasis on the Amazon channel.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing practices among suppliers to improve productivity, throughput, quality, and supply performance.
• Foster supplier collaboration to support product innovation, margin improvement, productivity gains, and cost reduction.
• Partner with Engineering and product teams on new product development, value engineering, and design-to-value initiatives.
• Resolve supply challenges and ensure reliable access to and timely delivery of materials.
• Lead outsourcing and insourcing decisions and make-versus-buy assessments.
• Monitor commodity and market trends to manage cost exposure.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, development, productivity improvement, and negotiations.
• Establish supplier scorecards and mitigate Tier 1–extended supply chain risks.
• Build and lead a global sourcing organization across brands.
• Develop governance and processes for long-term procurement growth.
• Direct department employees and cultivate a high-performing global team.
