Job summary

CECO Environmental seeks a Global Sourcing Manager to lead the worldwide procurement of materials and services. You will develop competitive category strategies, manage supplier performance, and drive cost reductions while ensuring uninterrupted supply to manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities include leading RFIs/RFQs, negotiating strategic agreements, and implementing SRM programs. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials, supply chain, business or related discipline.
• Ten or more years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, and materials management roles.
• Ten or more years of management experience.
• Industrial equipment manufacturing experience, including pumps, motors, valves, actuators, castings, raw materials and fabricated components.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electricals, Instrumentation, Controls, Electronics, Wire & Cable.
• Experience with ISO requirements and quality standards.
• ERP experience (Epicor or D365 preferred).
• Basic project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds and implements global sourcing and category strategies aligned with business and technical needs.
• Monitors market dynamics and supplier landscape to identify opportunities and drive cost reductions.
• Manages and improves cost competitiveness for direct and indirect materials.
• Improves working capital through terms, payment cycles, and inventory strategies.
• Identifies and qualifies new global suppliers to fill supply gaps and drive competition.
• Negotiates strategic supply agreements and contracts to lower costs and secure supply.
• Develops SRM programs including scorecards, reviews, benchmarking, and contingency plans.
• Applies supplier risk assessment methodologies and aligns supplier schedules with demand.
• Develops global logistics capabilities and sustainable supply chain processes.
