Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills seeks a Sourcing Director to shape and execute a global sourcing strategy across Apparel, Home, and Accessories. You will lead a cross-functional team of sourcing and production professionals, manage supplier portfolios, and own costing and negotiation discipline to deliver quality, cost efficiency, and speed-to-market that honors Pendleton’s enduring heritage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sourcing or production experience within heritage, lifestyle, or premium apparel, home, or accessories brands.
• 5+ years leading teams and managing a vendor portfolio across Asia and the Americas.
• Strong knowledge of wovens, knits, wool; experience with home textiles and leather goods is a plus.
• Proven track record of cost reduction, vendor consolidation, and on-time delivery improvement.
• Working knowledge of trade compliance, duty, and social compliance requirements.
• Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute a global sourcing strategy that supports growth, margin, quality, capacity, and speed-to-market goals.
• Translate multi-year sourcing roadmaps into seasonal vendor and capacity plans; diversify country and supplier risk.
• Lead factory evaluation, vendor qualification, onboarding, allocation, and performance management.
• Establish minimum order quantity and lead time standards by category; balance vendor needs with Pendleton heritage styles.
• Drive capacity planning and dual-source strategies to protect supply on key programs.
• Coordinate supply of Pendleton fabrics to cut-and-sew partners, align mill and vendor timelines.
• Monitor on-time delivery and production readiness; manage risk and issue timely decisions.
• Champion audit coverage and responsible sourcing with cross-functional partners.
