Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Sourcing De-D Risking Project Manager for the Aerospace, Defense & Marine Business Unit. The role leads cross-functional sourcing de-risking and supply continuity projects, from scoping to closure, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, Contracts and Compliance to mitigate supplier and continuity risks.

The position emphasizes structured project planning, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting, with about 20% travel and ITAR/EAR

Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, PM, or Compliance.
• Strong strategic sourcing knowledge including RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and implementation.
• Experience leading sourcing de-risking initiatives such as supplier transitions and dual sourcing.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and regulated supply chains where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cross-functional de-risking projects with clear scope, timelines, ownership, milestones, and escalation paths.
• Coordinate with Category Managers and Center Led Sourcing teams to execute projects aligned with strategy.
• Develop sourcing business cases covering total cost, tooling, inventory, transition costs, and risk.
• Own project planning, documentation, status reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Coordinate Legal, Contracts, and Compliance requirements including supplier agreements and regulatory obligations.
• Travel approximately 20% to supplier, manufacturing sites, and business stakeholders.
