Job summary
Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Source Inspection Lead responsible for guiding source inspection activities across domestic and international projects.
You will work with engineering, procurement, suppliers, and third-party inspectors to ensure equipment meets PO requirements, codes, and Air Products specs. Responsibilities include overseeing inspection plans, coordinating schedules, and managing NCRs while driving supplier quality, preventing defects, and ensuring timely delivery of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 10+ years experience in QA, QC, source inspection, or manufacturing inspection.
- Strong knowledge of inspection processes and supplier quality programs.
- Experience reviewing welding, inspection plans, NDE procedures, and docs.
- Familiarity with codes for pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, valves, instrumentation, skids, steam generators.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate source inspection activities for domestic and international projects.
- Manage third-party inspection agencies and inspectors.
- Review welding, NDE procedures and QC plans for compliance.
- Coordinate inspection schedules with suppliers and validate production readiness.
- Prepare and distribute detailed inspection reports promptly.
- Collaborate with project teams to mitigate quality risks and drive improvements.
