Job summary

Speedo, a leading global swimwear brand, seeks an Associate Global Product Manager - Softgoods to drive product strategy and profitability. You will partner with Design, Development, Marketing, and Brand teams to bring lines to market on time and within plan.

You will contribute to consumer insights, keep PLM line plans current in DeSL, and prepare briefs and presentations for seasonal launches, sales meetings and key accounts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in merchandising, planning, or product creation within apparel, swimwear, or sporting goods.
• Experience interpreting consumer insights and market trends.
• Ideally PLM experience, specifically DeSL.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexible/adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in swimwear and global consumer trends.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans and strategies across swimwear categories.
• Coordinate with Product Merchandising, Design, Development, Marketing, and Brand teams.
• Share consumer insights with the team.
• Maintain and update global line plans in DeSL PLM.
• Prepare and organize design and development briefs.
• Conduct competitor research and identify trends and opportunities.
• Track category trends and consumer behaviors for updates.
• Create seasonal presentations, GTM tools, and launch decks.
• Assist with sales meetings and key account presentations.
• Manage global SMS ordering and tracking.
• Support pricing analysis with merchandising team.
• Monitor deadlines to align with the merchandising calendar.
• Provide admin support for PLM workflow improvements with IT and Product Ops.
