Job summary

Google is seeking a Director, Social Strategy for Cloud Marketing to own strategy and execution of social initiatives across Google Cloud products. You will bridge social media strategy with cross-functional execution and lead a team across global campaigns.

You will set the vision for social, influencer and activation, partner with agencies and internal teams, and ensure programs are culturally relevant and high impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in marketing, business administration, or related field.
• 15 years of experience in marketing, brand activation or consumer business management.
• Experience with planning, analytics, deployment, and measurement across Social, Influencer, and Activation channels.
• Experience developing breakthrough Social, Influencer, and Activation campaigns for brand(s).

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, direction and execution of social initiatives for Google Cloud Marketing to drive awareness and pipeline.
• Lead a practice area focusing on social, influencer and activation across Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace products.
• Set the vision for channels to drive awareness and engagement, overseeing agencies and internal partners.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure programs are integrated, culturally relevant and effective.
• Build and mentor the engagement and social media team within Cloud Marketing.
