Job summary

Mars is seeking a Manager, Social Impact to lead strategic community engagement programs for Mars Snacking globally while owning the activation from our Chicago headquarters. You will design and drive volunteerism, in-kind donations, and measured impact across markets and regions.

This role requires 5+ years in global corporate philanthropy, strong collaboration, and proven ability to translate data into compelling storytelling for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of global volunteer program and corporate giving management experience.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships at all levels.
• Highly organized project management across multiple initiatives.
• Solid experience with measurement, reporting and communicating program impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead a global volunteerism and in-kind donation strategy that is locally relevant, scalable, and aligned with Mars Snacking’s priorities.
• Establish clear globally aligned goals, targets, and success metrics for programs.
• Track program outcomes and translate impact into clear, compelling internal and external communications.
• Partner internally across the Corporate Affairs function and broader Mars Inc. to align and deliver strategic programs.
• Collaborate across business functions to activate volunteer and social impact initiatives as a driver of Purpose.
• Create toolkits and guidance for teams to lead initiatives in their regions.
