Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist to support certification and regulatory compliance for snowmobile products in Roseau, MN. This contract role focuses on maintaining certifications and monitoring global regulatory requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain snowmobile emissions and product certifications (EPA, SSCC, Transport Canada, EU Type Approval, other international regulators).
• Support engineering R&D to ensure compliance is built into product design.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing for timely compliance validation and implementation.
• Conduct compliance reviews within development and part release processes.
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and third‑party certification bodies.
• Monitor industry regulations and represent the organization on technical committees as needed.
• Maintain and improve compliance processes, systems, and documentation.
• Track pre‑certification vehicles and engines and monitor warranty claims per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and compliance documentation.
• Assist with compliance initiatives across additional product lines as needed.
