Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist for a 12-month contract in Wyoming, MN, with occasional travel to Roseau, MN. You will obtain and maintain snowmobile emissions and product certifications and monitor global regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across the development lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to high ethical standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain snowmobile emissions and product certifications (EPA, SSCC, Transport Canada, EU Type Approval, and other international certifications).
• Support engineering R&D to incorporate compliance requirements into product design.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to achieve timely compliance validation and approvals.
• Conduct compliance reviews within product development and part release processes.
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and third-party certification bodies.
• Monitor industry regulations and participate in technical committees and associations when assigned.
• Maintain and continuously improve compliance processes, systems, and documentation.
• Track pre-certification vehicles and engines and monitor warranty claims per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and compliance documentation.
• Assist with compliance initiatives across additional product lines as needed.
