Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in United States is seeking a Senior Smart Manufacturing Execution Lead to drive the global strategy across the GSC network, delivering data-to-value outcomes through Industry 4.0 and advanced analytics.

You will collaborate with GPS, Manufacturing, Quality, NPI/CMC, Supply Chain, Engineering/Automation, Digital/Tech, and external partners to scale solutions that improve productivity and accelerate medicines delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Advanced Technology, Automation, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 6+ years delivering complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with full project life cycle from business case to BAU.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations (MES/eBR, OT/SCADA/DCS, cloud/edge).
• Proven application of analytics, AI to manufacturing and/or supply chain problems.
• Experience leading multi-site/global programs with external suppliers.
• Background in continuous improvement, Six Sigma and/or lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Smart Manufacturing strategy with a multi-year, value-driven roadmap.
• Lead site-level value identification and prioritization using a data-driven approach.
• Deliver end-to-end Industry 4.0 solutions in partnership with global and site teams.
• Improve data availability and contextualization for decision-making and optimization.
• Build cross-functional delivery teams to design, pilot, scale, and embed solutions.
• Define global standards for design, validation, data integrity, cybersecurity, and supplier delivery.
• Own stakeholder engagement, align priorities, and drive adoption of new capabilities.
• Ensure benefits realization with KPIs and governance reporting.
• Develop digital fluency through training and knowledge transfer.
• Manage external partners to deliver outcomes on time and within scope.
