Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Site Management Leader to provide direction and operational excellence for Clinical Site Management (CSM) in assigned studies. The role may serve as the global CSM strategy leader or manage area site execution, coordinating with SMLs and the Clinical Study Team.

You will drive site monitoring, engagement, and risk mitigation, ensuring timely deliverables and TMF completeness while collaborating across regions in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a (para)medical or scientific field.
• At least 5 years of industry clinical research experience including 2 years in monitoring or project management on a global study.
• Experience in study initiation through study completion in Phase II/III; multi-therapeutic experience preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership and communication, able to influence in a matrix environment.
• Proficient with SOPs, ICH, Global Regulations, Ethics and Compliance; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive study-level global and/or area-level CSM deliverables to timelines with allocated resources.
• Lead Site Monitoring Plan and Site Engagement Strategy.
• Ensure studyTimeline and milestones; coordinate with country teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee monitoring activities with other SMLs; maintain quality and milestone adherence.
• Ensure TMF completeness for CSM artifacts and study inspection readiness.
