Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a highly skilled Site Construction Manager with 15-20 years of experience to lead complex site construction activities across large‑scale projects within the Global Projects team. The role starts at the Houston Campus and will eventually be based at project sites worldwide, guiding construction execution from FEED through commissioning.

You will build and lead a qualified site team, ensure safety culture, manage schedules, and align stakeholders with execution strategies

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of project management and site construction experience on major capital projects.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary site teams across domestic and international locations.
• Proven ability to align execution strategies, risk management, and project controls.
• Willingness to travel globally and operate in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices on-site.
• Develop construction execution strategies and deliver milestone dates.
• Lead constructability reviews and implement required actions.
• Support project risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Lead technical evaluation of tenders related to construction execution, site management, logistics, and contractor capabilities.
• Manage site logistics, construction sequencing, and temporary facilities requirements.
• Oversee field construction through Mechanical Completion and support commissioning.
• Coordinate with Module Fabrication and Logistics teams to align module delivery and offsite fabrication expectations.
• Communicate project priorities and execution strategies to site teams and contractors.
• Drive resolution of field issues and construction risks, and monitor contractor performance.
