Job summary

Exxon Mobil Corporation in Houston seeks a highly skilled Site Fabrication Manager with 15–20 years of experience to lead fabrication across large projects, ensuring technical excellence, commercial alignment, and risk-informed decision-making.

The role starts at the Houston Campus supporting a portfolio of projects and global fabrication initiatives and may be based at fabrication yards abroad, requiring travel and leadership of cross-cultural teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline with 15–20 years PM/ execution experience.
10–15 years of progressive construction and fabrication yard experience.
Strong understanding of modular fabrication build methodologies and execution strategies.
Proven site leadership in foreign locations and collaboration with EPC/Fabrication contractors.
Experience with project controls, construction planning, risk management and governance.

Responsibilities

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices by project teams, consultants, and contractors.
Develop execution strategies and lead constructability reviews with stakeholders.
Lead technical evaluation of tenders related to fabrication execution, site management, logistics, and contractor capabilities.
Build and lead a qualified team to execute fabrication scope across yards and projects.
Ensure alignment of schedules, resources, and deliverables with fabrication plans and handover needs.
Interface with Site Construction and Logistics Teams to coordinate module delivery and site readiness.
