Job summary

Flowserve Houston is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to lead daily shipping operations, coordinating between the floor and the Global Logistics team. You will prepare documentation, track orders, and liaise with carriers to meet customer ship dates and optimize resources.

The role requires ERP proficiency, Excel expertise, and knowledge of export/import rules. Applicants should have shipping or logistics experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in shipping/logistics and export/import compliance is preferred.
Proven ability to coordinate between shipping floor and office and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate shipping floor activities and office guidance.
Prepare and maintain shipping docs and records for domestic and international orders.
Track shipments and provide history information to customers upon request.
Review open customer orders daily to meet ship dates and schedules.
Coordinate freight with carriers and optimize resources with Logistics leadership.
Ensure compliance with Freight Payment Policy and audit freight bills for accuracy.
Provide training on new procedures and stay updated on export/import regulations.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and participate in logistics projects.
