Job summary

Emerson in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support international and domestic shipping for our Pressure Management products. You will collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering to coordinate shipping requirements and ensure on-time execution.

This role is customer- and vendor-facing, requiring attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong knowledge of export/import regulations and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or related field.
• Working knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping procedures.
• Experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in a shipping office and dealing with a broad external customer base.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customer Service and Manufacturing to coordinate customer shipping schedules and ensure timely shipment execution.
• Prepare export customs documentation and shipping quotes with ocean and air freight carriers; coordinate export documentation in accordance with international trade and freight-forwarding requirements.
• Assemble documentation required for the successful export of international shipments, including Certificates of Compliance, Certificates or Origin, Commercial Invoices, drawings, MTRs, manuals, and other country specific requirements.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, shipping labels, and other required shipping documentation to support accurate and timely shipment processing.
• Work cross-functionally with Tulsa and other PRM departments to coordinate logistics activities and ensure compliance with applicable trade requirements.
