Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Senior Medical Director in Interventional Therapies to guide global clinical strategy, collaborating with research, engineering, business development and KOLs to advance interventional cardiology therapies. The role reports to the CMO, Interventional Solutions.

Responsibilities include medical guidance for trials, protocol development, device lifecycle oversight, and evaluating new technologies.

Qualifications

MD in Interventional Cardiology with strong PCI and intracoronary imaging background.
Experience in device development or new technology.
Minimum 15 years of clinical physician experience.
Solid understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory pathways.

Responsibilities

Provide medical and scientific guidance to stakeholders including trial teams and regulators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on medical objectives for interventional cardiology.
Support clinical trial planning, protocol development, and investigator selection.
Advise on devices life cycle and regulatory matters.
Assist in evaluating adjacent business development opportunities.
Contribute to new technologies and clinical data reviews.
Write/review clinical reports and educational materials.
Maintain relationships with thought leaders and present at conferences.
