Job summary

Marsh in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Global Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist – Accounting Operations to join our Accounting Operations team. This hybrid role reports to the Accounting Manager and focuses on leading ongoing improvements within finance processes.

You will develop Lean strategies, mentor teams, and partner with IT and product teams to implement enhancements across billing, payments and related workflows.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• A minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business transformational and continuous improvement strategy with senior management.
• Design and lead deployment of the Lean framework across business units.
• Be responsible for successful implementation of business improvement projects across the business by building motivated teams and ensuring health, safety, and environmental requirements are adhered to.
• Champion the architecture and design of enterprise accounting applications, partnering with platform engineering, UX, product management and leadership.
• Drive cross-functional partnerships with Business Operations and Information Systems to support roadmap development and application architecture decisions.
