Job summary

Syngenta Seeds is seeking a Production Manager to lead regional Small Seed Vegetable production planning, grower allocation, contracting and pricing, and to manage external tolling relationships to satisfy QQTP requirements.

You will build a capable production organization, drive cost efficiency, and ensure full compliance with HSE and quality standards while collaborating with Global Seed Sourcing, Supply OPS, Finance, and R&D to improve supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in agriculture / business.
• Global mindset and experience working in a multi-cultural & cross functional environment.
• Financial knowledge & data analytics.
• Functional knowledge of seed production operations and vendor management.
• Experience in planning and agriculture business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead regional production personnel with clear accountabilities and plans for succession.
• Build organizational capability to meet challenges of COGS and product quality.
• Engage in creating a platform for the global production community to connect and share best practices.
• Ensure compliance with external/internal standards on HSE, quality and risk management.
