Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a GMS Business Security Leader to deliver security, risk management, and incident management across all GMS operations. You will serve as the primary security liaison for leadership, employees, contractors, and partners, ensuring consistent execution of security standards and readiness.

The role requires 10+ years of applicable experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of security operations, access control, CCTV, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant security or risk management experience.
• Strategic thinker with leadership across distributed environments.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, CCTV, intrusion detection.
• Familiarity with public safety regulations and interfacing with law enforcement.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all GMS security activities.
• Oversee security operations across offices and properties.
• Ensure compliance with security SOPs and standards.
• Direct security training, drills, and incident readiness.
• Monitor events and advise leadership on implications to operations.
• Audit security practices during acquisitions and integrations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and enterprise partners.
• Ensure accurate incident reporting via Origami and support investigations.
