TikTok’s Global Security Legal team seeks an experienced leader to manage and guide a global group of legal professionals focused on information security governance. You will translate evolving laws into scalable policies, collaborate with product and security teams, and help mitigate risks across regions.

Your role spans incident response, data protection, and regulatory matters with cross-functional alignment to protect user and company data while enabling innovation.

Qualifikationen

• Must have JD and active US State Bar membership in good standing.
• Extensive experience leading global teams of legal professionals in enterprise tech or consumer-facing apps.
• Experience advising on cyber risks, cybersecurity standards, risk assessments, and certification processes.
• Background in data privacy matters and information security within a global tech company.
• Extensive experience coordinating with international teams across time zones.
• Strong drafting, documentation, presentation and communication skills in global roles.
• Highly motivated, proactive, able to multitask and deliver results in evolving legal/regulatory environments.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of legal professionals within the information security, physical security, and incident response vertical on the Global Privacy and Security Legal team.
• Oversee day-to-day legal support for incident response, covering information security, privacy, safety, and other breaches.
• Advise on the development and implementation of information security and data protection policies and processes.
• Provide thought leadership on security-related regulatory and litigation matters that may impact the company.
• Collaborate with security teams on data assurance, data protection, threat defense, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Work with legal and product teams globally to review products and initiatives to provide legal risk mitigation from an information security perspective.
• Support procurement and commercial teams with information security aspects of contracts with third parties.
• Coordinate with cross-functional colleagues on all information security and incident response matters, including communication and enforcement.
