Job summary

BARNES seeks an IT Global Security Operations & Exposure Management Lead to build and run a scalable global security operations capability. You will own security monitoring, incident response, detection engineering, and third-party service delivery, reporting to the CISO.

You will grow internal staff, partner with IT, engineering, and manufacturing, and strengthen protection of IP and uptime across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security with hands-on security operations or exposure management.
• Proven leadership of a SOC, MDR/MSSP, incident response, or global security ops.
• Strong AI aptitude to leverage security platform AI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations service delivery and incident lifecycle.
• Manage third-party security services, metrics, and escalation processes.
• Lead incident response and tabletop exercises across enterprise environments.
• Drive remediation in collaboration with IT, engineering, and business owners.
• Define detection use cases and improve platform maturity.
