Job summary

Barnes Group is seeking an IT Global Security Operations & Exposure Management Lead to build and run a scalable global security operations capability. Reporting to the CISO, you will own security monitoring, incident response, detection engineering, and third‑party security service delivery across legacy, cloud, and operational environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information security experience with hands-on security operations, incident response, detection engineering, or exposure management.
• Experience leading a SOC, MDR/MSSP service, incident response function, or global security operations capability.
• Strong practical experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and cloud logging; familiar with OT/industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Own daily security operations service delivery, including ticket intake, triage, escalation, and closure.
• Lead enterprise-wide security operations and incident response across multiple environments.
• Translate threat intelligence into prioritized detections and countermeasures.
• Define operating model and talent roadmap for a scalable global security operations function.
