Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America is seeking an Operator for the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in California. You will investigate alarms, dispatch security patrols, assist employees, and monitor safety and security across the company.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and comfort with high-tech tools. Responsibilities include analyzing multiple systems for risks, coordinating responses, and producing daily and incident reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Associate’s degree or 2+ years of related experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, or Corporate Security.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, sometimes stressed environment.
• Strong team player.
• Comfortable with high-tech work environment and learning new tools.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and overtime when needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Investigate alarms and respond by dispatching security patrols or alerting Fire services or Police as needed.
• Assist company employees in all concerns related to safety and security.
• Monitor travel safety and security of company’s employees.
• Conduct ongoing review of multiple systems to detect potential risks.
• Notify and coordinate corporate response by distributing advisories and other communications.
• Compile daily and incident reports.
• Follow procedures for managing incidents from local to global crises.
• Provide back-up, support, and on-call function as needed.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
• Gather and prepare reports on individual and team performance metrics.
