Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a Managing Director of Intelligence to lead a global security intelligence function and protect people, assets, operations, and reputation.

You will report to the Chief Security Officer and oversee intelligence collection, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across the business. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Homeland Security, or a related discipline preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in intelligence community, national security, law enforcement, military or corporate security, preferred.
• Experience with USCI and relationships with law enforcement or government agencies preferred.
• Ability to translate complex intelligence into clear business and investment insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global intelligence and threat assessment function.
• Develop security intelligence strategies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
• Establish intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and escalation protocols.
• Build scalable intelligence capabilities supporting offices, protection, travel, and portfolio companies.
• Lead a high-performing intelligence team with geopolitical analysis and risk management.
• Provide strategic intelligence assessments to executives and investment stakeholders.
• Develop threat models for activist campaigns, workplace violence, sanctions, and supply chain risks.
• Integrate open-source and government intelligence into a unified picture.
• Support incident response, crisis management, and business continuity.
