Amazon is seeking a senior security leader to drive threat intelligence and operationalize insights across its vast global footprint. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, shape the threat intel program, and partner with security and business units to reduce risk for customers and operations.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, scalability, and clear communication to senior stakeholders, with a strong track record in delivering high-impact security outcomes at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work history in a relevant field.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership and threat intelligence experience.
• Experience applying threat intel methods and lifecycle processes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Security Engineers, TPMs, and Intel Analysts with strategic direction and oversight.
• Maintain a prioritized roadmap to address gaps and improve security practices.
• Communicate threats to leadership, customers, and partners in a consistent voice.
• Coordinate with service owners to assess threats and align controls across platforms.
• Evaluate security incidents to identify patterns and predict threat trends.
• Establish terminology, reporting requirements, and automation for consistent analysis.
• Drive teamwork and commitment across multiple groups within the security function.
• Convey project issues and status concisely and professionally.
• Negotiate remediation plans for large-scale issues across business units.
• Coordinate with partner teams to build tracking and reporting to reduce risks.
