Job summary

Ironclad Defense Works seeks a Mission Security Coordinator to support NATO Allied Command Transformation’s Office of Security in Norfolk, VA. You will plan security, assess travel risk, and provide on-site support for senior NATO engagements worldwide.

You will analyze open-source and classified information, develop briefings, coordinate with law enforcement, and deliver risk assessments for high-profile travels and events, ensuring NATO-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security administration or related field.
• 3+ years planning security for major events involving VIPs or international operations.
• Experience coordinating with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
• Certification in risk management or security discipline (PMP/CRMP or equivalent).
• Ability to collect/analyze OSINT and classified/unclassified information.
• Experience developing security briefings, risk assessments, and incident reports for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze travel information to identify high-risk destinations.
• Collect OSINT, classified reporting, and local security information.
• Develop traveler security briefings and risk-mitigation guidance.
• Develop security plans for high-risk missions and events.
• Conduct risk assessments and site-security surveys.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, intelligence, and emergency responders.
• Prepare senior-leader security briefs.
• Support security operations at events and external missions.
• Maintain NATO-compliant security documentation.
• Provide briefings to NATO leadership.
