The Bolton Group in Naperville, IL seeks an experienced SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to lead monthly close, consolidate global financials in SAP, and oversee complex transactions including stock-based compensation. The role interfaces with executives on high-impact initiatives.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 5–8 years in public accounting/industry, strong GAAP/SEC/SOX knowledge, and proficiency in SAP/Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in public accounting and industry mix (manufacturing/consumer goods preferred).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel; experience with consolidation tools (OneStream/Hyperion) a plus.
• Experience drafting technical accounting memos (ASC 606, ASC 350, ASC 360).

Responsabilidades

• Partner with U.S. and international business units during the monthly close process.
• Lead the monthly global financial statement consolidation in SAP.
• Oversee and review the accounting for stock-based compensation and complex transactions.
• Review and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K/10-Q) and related statements.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos for special transactions (debt, equity, M&A).
• Support the quarterly earnings release, Audit Committee materials, and reporting deliverables.
• Perform covenant compliance calculations related to credit agreements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Support annual and triggering event impairment testing.
• Maintain documentation for SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Lead filing of government and industry financial surveys.
