Job summary

Valiantys is seeking a global owner of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Developer Experience (DevEx) practice. You will shape offerings, lead global uplift, and connect people, processes, platforms and AI across the software delivery lifecycle.

This builder role requires executive presence, deep technical and consulting depth, and the ability to translate business needs into pragmatic transformation roadmaps. Location preference is East Coast time zone.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in professional services, tech consulting, or enterprise software with SDLC/DevOps focus.
• Proven track record building and scaling a professional services practice with repeatable offerings.
• Commercial, with experience partnering across Sales, Marketing, and Services to grow pipeline.
• Deep familiarity with AI in software development and agentic AI tools.
• Experience engaging CTO/VP Engineering as a strategy leader, not just a tech adviser.
• Extensive Atlassian know‑how including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence and Software Collection.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global SDLC/DevEx practice strategy and business plan.
• Build and lead regional Practice Leads across EMEA, North America and APAC.
• Create differentiated, market-ready offerings, IP, accelerators and playbooks.
• Productise regional delivery experience to improve sales velocity and margins.
• Lead executive client conversations with CTOs and VP Engineering.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Services to close strategic opportunities.
• Lead discovery and gap analyses translating needs into modernization roadmaps.
• Drive adoption of global standards and asset reuse across regions.
• Develop practitioner enablement and knowledge management programs.
• Maintain market POV on SDLC, DevEx, and AI capabilities.
