Job summary

MSD Malaysia is offering a summer internship in Global Scientific Value Content within our Research Labs Division. The program runs up to 12 weeks and involves real projects, mentoring, and exposure to scientific writing and content development.

Support from leaders and collaboration with Medical Affairs and other stakeholders will help you gain experience in literature review, data interpretation, and presentation creation while developing professional skills for a career in pharma.

Qualifications

Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in the sciences or a related field.
Candidates must be returning to school in the Fall of 2027.
Candidates must be available to work full‑time for 10-12 weeks beginning in May 2027.
Candidates must have experience conducting literature searches and using published literature in support of scientific content development.
Candidates must have a basic understanding of biomedical sciences, including the ability to categorize scientific literature by therapeutic areas and topics.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Candidates must have outstanding ability to organize information, multi‑task, and manage one’s own time.
Candidates must have some experience creating presentations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint are required.

Responsibilities

Global Scientific Value Content Development: author content aligned to Annual Value and Implementation Plan.
Global Scientific Value Content Development: review GSVC materials for relevance and accuracy against cited literature and internal information.
Global Scientific Value Content Development: ensure stakeholders are engaged in development, review, and approval of deliverables.
Global Scientific Value Content Development: communicate to cross‑functional stakeholders the availability of approved deliverables.
Global Scientific Value Content Development: use company‑approved AI tools under guidance to support content development while maintaining rigor and compliance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: learn about collaboration between Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Publications, and other teams.
Training and Professional Development: complete learning modules and self‑training materials for personal growth.
