Job summary

Apple Information Systems and Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, build, and own full‑stack systems powering global operations. This role focuses on backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and frontend dashboards to provide real‑time visibility into system health and incidents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years work experience or 4 years with Masters.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar or equivalent related work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot / JEE)/ Python /FastAPI / React.
• Experience designing and shipping end-to-end software systems—backend, API layer, and front-end—reliability and developer experience.
• Hands-on experience with database schema design and data access technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with observability tooling (Splunk, Hubble, ExtraHop, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own full-stack applications and internal platforms that automate operational workflows, system monitoring, and incident management at scale.
• Develop robust backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Java (JEE/Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI), and create rich frontend dashboards with React.
• Create AI/LLM-powered automation agents and MCP servers to surface actionable insights.
• Build scalable data pipelines and ingestion services that aggregate signals from distributed systems and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with the Tech lead to ensure reliability and maintainability of systems.
