Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to build and lead the Identity Platform team responsible for onboarding, compliance, and secure global customer experiences. You will own the identity data model, orchestrate vendor integrations, and scale capabilities across geographies.

You will partner with Product, Compliance, and other engineering teams, drive architectural durability, and foster engineering excellence in security, observability, and operation.

Qualifications

• Leading a platform or identity-focused team delivering complex distributed systems.
• Domain expertise in identity, KYC/KYB, regtech, or compliance-heavy platforms.
• Experience integrating major vendors into platform architectures.
• Guiding teams through complex migrations and legacy decoupling.
• Aligning engineering, product, compliance, and legal into a coherent strategy.
• Delivering highly reliable, auditable, and compliant platforms in regulated environments.
• Experience scaling teams across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing engineering team dedicated to the Identity Platform.
• Partner with Product, Compliance, and other teams to deliver onboarding and compliance capabilities.
• Integrate with vendors like Persona for KYC/KYB while managing orchestration and core connections.
• Lead design and governance of a core identity data model.
• Build for global scale meeting diverse regulatory requirements.
• Define and implement a technical roadmap balancing near-term delivery with long-term durability.
• Champion engineering excellence in design, testing, security, observability, and operations.
