Job description

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Global Sales Analyst in the Global Sales Strategy, Insights & Performance team. The team is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, providing actionable insights, and enhancing processes to reduce administrative tasks for Global Sales. As a key member, you will design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven decision making across the Sales organization, focusing on Small and Medium-Businesses (SMB) and Local Sales.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Understand the business process that correctly translates to the Global Sales data.
  2. Support the analytical and reporting needs of the Choice Small & Medium Businesses (SMB) program and Choice Local Sales program.
  3. Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
  4. Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other team members across the company to integrate Sales data into existing systems and processes.
  6. Recommend and implement solutions for changes to Global Sales data or sales operations processes that impact downstream data.
  7. Design and develop dynamic reports and interactive dashboards to support insights and data-driven decisions.
  8. Perform data analysis and transformation to support sales and operations.
  9. Monitor and maintain dashboards, reports, and data accuracy and relevance.
  10. Ensure proper data governance policies are enforced.
  11. Document current and future states of Global Sales data, reporting, and dashboards.
  12. Respond to inquiries regarding data process outcomes with clear explanations.
Your Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in B2B sales processes, practices, or industry-related experience is preferred.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau, and SQL.
  4. Key competencies include managing complexity, action orientation, and collaboration.
Your Team

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, with 1 peer teammate and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Work Location

This role is remote-based, with virtual meetings via Zoom and periodic travel (up to 10%) to North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.

Salary Range

$64,000 to $70,000 annually, with compensation based on relevant factors including education, experience, skills, and location.
