Cognex Corporation seeks a seasoned Finance Director to lead the global Record-to-Report function, driving end-to-end RTR, automation, and AI-enabled transformation. You will partner with IT, FP&A, Treasury, and Shared Services to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and governance across the enterprise.

This role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, 10+ years in RTR/global finance, and strong leadership to mentor a multinational team through digital modernization and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA) preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive RTR or global finance operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing global accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global RTR operations ensuring US GAAP compliance and financial integrity.
• Oversee month/quarter/year-end close with authoritative governance.
• Drive automation, AI/GenAI enabled processes, and digital workflows.
• Partner with IT, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Shared Services.
