Job summary

Unilever is seeking a senior leader to head the North America Packaging and Global Rigids Procurement function. You will shape sourcing strategy, manage a substantial spend, and drive performance across value, service, quality, resilience and sustainability.

You will collaborate with R&D, Finance, Legal and Sustainability to deliver supplier-driven innovation and cost advantages while building a high-performing, global procurement organization.

Qualifications

• Senior procurement or supply-management experience in packaging within a large multinational.
• Experience defining and executing regional/global category strategies with substantial value and cash outcomes.
• Deep understanding of rigid-packaging value chains, resins and recycled materials.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement and leadership of cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North America Packaging and Global Rigids Procurement organization (~€600M spend).
• Define the global Rigids strategy using scale, market requirements, supplier capability and cost models.
• Own end-to-end North America packaging procurement performance across value, service, quality, resilience and sustainability.
• Translate global portfolio direction into NA sourcing and business plans and ensure timely execution of innovations.
• Build strategic supplier ecosystems, set joint roadmaps and governance across cost, service, quality and sustainability.
• Create a multi-year value, circularity and innovation pipeline through sourcing and recycled content initiatives.
• Develop capability, engagement and succession pipelines within a high-performing global organization.
